Isopropyl Alcohol, also known as IPA, is a colourless liquid with a characteristic odour of alcohol. It is used in the manufacture of cosmetics and personal care products including hand sanitiser, pharmaceuticals, dye solutions, anti-freeze products and is found in a number of cleaning products. In higher percentages it is also used as rubbing alcohol, as an antiseptic or as a cleaning agent to remove sticky residues and stains.
