Sodium Silicofluoride

Sodium Silicofluoride is also referred to by a number of synonyms including sodium hexafluorosilicate, cryptohalite sodium fluorosilicate and sodium fluorosilicate. It is a white to colourless fine, granular powder used mostly as an insecticide, particularly in the pest control of rodents.

Other uses include as a raw material for the production of other forms of fluoride as well as being used in the metal, wood, leather and rubber industries and it is also used in castings.
