Ammonium Chloride is a white crystalline salt which is highly soluble in water, mildly acidic and odourless. It is most commonly used as a chemical intermediate and in chemical manufacturing.

Ammonium Chloride has many applications such as; metal work, medicines, food, oil wells that have clay swelling problems, as a thickening agent in hair shampoo, wood glue, many cleaning products, and in the textile and leather industry in dyeing and tanning.
